The Hood Canal Environmental Council Grant Award Program is designed to celebrate and support projects that make a positive impact on the Hood Canal environment and community.
This program is meant to recognize both past achievements and future proposals across all subject areas - from science and cultural heritage to community development and education.
Key Highlights
Open to all: Individuals, organizations, schools, and community groups are welcome to apply.
Flexible criteria: Nominations may honor past performance, while proposals may outline new plans.
Broad scope: Any subject that benefits Hood Canal - environmental, cultural, or community - is eligible.
Applications will be reviewed by the Hood Canal Environmental Council Board of Directors, a committee of community leaders and environmental experts. Awardees will receive grant funding to support their work and will be recognized publicly through Council events, newsletters, and media outreach.
There is no deadline for submissions.
